Skateboarding, Petites & Grandes Histoires - 2006 - Author/Art Director

I have always been fascinated by the little anecdotes within a bigger picture that alter the course of a day, a week, a month. Skateboarding overflows with sessions, tricks, “one more try” stories that changed the course of one of the greatest activity/lifestyle in modern history. My idea was to move the spotlight these moments and reinsert them in skateboarding history, hence the name “Skateboarding, little and big stories.” When I wrote this book, in 2006, I felt the market needed a short but comprehensive chronology of skateboarding history linking the anecdotes to the bigger scheme. It was also a great opportunity to ask photographers friends J. Grant Brittain, Skin Philips, Dave Swift, Craig R Stecyk III, Jay Tanju, and Mathias Fennetaux to join me in this adventure.
